2008.11.01 downtown Seattle
Christy's friend from Connecticut (and sorta - New Zealand), Amy, came up to Seattle to hang with us for the weekend. Since she's eyeballing Seattle as a future home, we decided to take the boat down to Bell Harbor Marina in downtown Seattle and hang out downtown for the evening. The Saturday weather turned ugly so we spent much of the time on the boat, rather than cruising around downtown but still pretty fun. On Sunday, we had our first Small Craft Advisory (woohoo!). 20 knots of wind blowing us in the exact direction we needed to get home. So we unrolled our genoa and sat back to enjoy the downhill run to Shilshole.
